The Big Lie!

Councilmembers led by Councilman BS Graham keep throwing around that 70% of Scottsdale voters voted for the Old Town parking garage to be across from the Old Adobe Mission and where the Farmers Market is located.
The facts present an entirely different case – Of the 173,708 registered voters only 37,247 or 21% voted for Question Two which included 63 items, of which the garage was item 63. The publicity pamphlet included 16 letters in support of raising taxes. None including Councilman Graham’s (which references that he is a CPA) made any reference to site the garage across from the Old Adobe Mission and where the Farmers Market is located.
